It’s still hard to come to grips with the fact that the quarter is nearly over. We’ve finished our senior design prototype (as shown below) and it works remarkably well. The crusher module takes a good deal of force to start, but it does a great job of actually crushing them. The winnower works surprisingly well – much better than that of the other groups.

The RS.net and KP Crew Lunch, 2008 was great! A huge thanks to RD for putting the whole thing together and to everyone else who made it.

Welcome to Mollywood is the working title of a new DC series that centers on 15-year-old Molly (Lovato), a Midwestern girl who wins a nationwide search to move to Los Angeles and join the cast of the most popular teen sketch comedy show on TV. The series will feature a show-within-a-show, with fully produced comedy sketches.

Yesterday, I set up AshleyTisdale.us, Alyson-Michalka.us, SelenaGomez.ws, and DemiLovato.us.

That just wasn’t enough, and I ended up getting one more domain:

MILEY-ROCKS.COM – My new Miley Cyrus Fansite.

All six sites are linked together and now that they’re properly configured, they automatically propagate news and screen caps as appropriate!

So yeah, I just now picked up yet another domain name.

BABY-ZEINESS.COM – “The blog of a self-righteous little girl who honestly has no clue what she’s doing at all”

I still have the last domain she asked for but didn’t use, but we fixed that issue this time – I hope.

1st, I normally work on Saturdays and had to get the day off, special, so I could go.

2nd, This weekend is the annual Dental Convention in Anaheim, and I so love the free stuff.

3rd, This weekend is Fullerton Railroad Days.

4th, Little Bro Jeff has a school trip to Disneyland today.

5th, I wanted to get a specific Disney Pin at DL so I could trade it online.

And with all these other factors, I still intended to see Avril in concert today. It took a lot of planning, but I managed to do everything on my list and still get to the pond on time … just in time to find out the event was postponed. *facepalm*

AVRIL LAVIGNE FORCED TO POSTPONE SIX ADDITIONAL U.S. TOUR DATES DUE TO ACUTE LARYNGITIS

Los Angeles, CA (May 3, 2008) – After Avril Lavigne performed 37 shows across the country, she announced this evening that she must postpone the next six dates of her North American “The Best Damn Tour” due to her acute laryngitis. Lavigne previously cancelled shows this week in Phoenix and San Diego due to her condition.

“My sincerest apologies to all of my fans. My intention was to complete the rest of the tour but tonight at sound check in Anaheim I realized this wasn’t possible. Even though I have been resting my voice for days, when I tried to sing nothing came out.” Lavigne said this evening.

Refunds will be available at point of purchase on Monday.
