Boo. No concert today.
1st, I normally work on Saturdays and had to get the day off, special, so I could go.
2nd, This weekend is the annual Dental Convention in Anaheim, and I so love the free stuff.
3rd, This weekend is Fullerton Railroad Days.
4th, Little Bro Jeff has a school trip to Disneyland today.
5th, I wanted to get a specific Disney Pin at DL so I could trade it online.
And with all these other factors, I still intended to see Avril in concert today. It took a lot of planning, but I managed to do everything on my list and still get to the pond on time … just in time to find out the event was postponed. *facepalm*
AVRIL LAVIGNE FORCED TO POSTPONE SIX ADDITIONAL U.S. TOUR DATES DUE TO ACUTE LARYNGITIS
Los Angeles, CA (May 3, 2008) – After Avril Lavigne performed 37 shows across the country, she announced this evening that she must postpone the next six dates of her North American “The Best Damn Tour” due to her acute laryngitis. Lavigne previously cancelled shows this week in Phoenix and San Diego due to her condition.
“My sincerest apologies to all of my fans. My intention was to complete the rest of the tour but tonight at sound check in Anaheim I realized this wasn’t possible. Even though I have been resting my voice for days, when I tried to sing nothing came out.” Lavigne said this evening.
Refunds will be available at point of purchase on Monday.

Had I known, I could have gone to work today and done an abreviated Dental Convention and Fullerton RR days with the parents tomorrow (and saved some $40 worth of gas). Oh well. At least I got three out of four.
