Earthquake!

USGS is estimating it was a 5.4 which is big, but not huge, centered under Chino Hills. It reportadly was felt as far as San Diego and Las Vegas. From google maps, I estimate Temecula to be about 45 miles away from the epicenter. I was standing on the second floor of my house when the quake hit. It was a genital roll, moving the floor about an inch in a swaying motion for roughly 20 seconds. I wasn’t sure if I had imagined it until I walked over and say the hanging chandelier swaying.

Last week, I got three new .me TLDs. There where quite a few .me domains I was interested in, including isaac.com, but I ended up only being able to get these three.

gai.me – I had once wanted my initials as gai.com or gai.net but could never get them. I eventually settled on g2i.us for my wesdesign and hosting needs. However, with the .me domain, I could now get gai.me. Whether or not I use if for anything is yet to be seen now that I’ve already established g2i.us.

sds.me – Finally! A three letter TLD I can use for Save Disney Shows! This is Very helpful for situations where there isn’t room to use the full savedisneyshows.org address.

hsm.me – I had been considering starting a High School Musical fansite for a while, and this was a good domain for that.

debby-ryan.com – And lastly, I also picked up a new domain for Debby Ryan. Debby is the new girl that has been cast in the “Suite Life” spin off series.

Back on Friday July 18th I went to see Demi Lovato in concert at the Roxy theatre in LA.

Demi’s previous performance in “As the Bell rings”  was sub-par to put it mildly, and as you might have gathered I am no fan of “Camp Rock.” Still, Disney’s promoting her as the “Next Big thing,” Selena Gomez likes her, and I have a domain for her, so I figured it was worth going. then I’d either walk out a fan, or not instead of being on the fence. And I’m glad I went, she gave quite a show!

It was shorter than I expected, and I hadn’t heard most of the songs before (as her album isn’t out yet) but she had a lot of energy and that really made up for it. I definately left a fan. The only thing I regret is that Selena gomez was there too, and I never saw her. Oh well, maybe next time.

AJ-MICHALKA.COM – This domain recently expired, and I pounced on it!

AMANDA-MICHALKA.COM – As I continued my search, I found this one was also available. I’ve decided to use this one as my AJ fansite just because it has good symmetry with her sister’s site alyson-michalka.us.

I also wanted to mention a few domains that I picked up over the past few months that I forgot to mention here.

JEMMA-MCKENZIE-BROWN.COM – Jemma plays a “mini-Sharpay” in High School Musical 3. We don’t know much about her, but I found the domain available and decided to get out in front of the trend, for once!

SAVEWITCH.COM – I’ve built up my Save WITCH site at savewitch.org, and thought this was an important alternate domain to get.

LEMURZOOM.COM – Don’t ask. I really don’t know what I was thinking. …I like lemurs.

I wanted to check and see what domains I have up for renewal, and to start transfering some more of my yahoo domains before they need to be renewed. So of course, I ended up buying three new domains, and didn’t transfer anything! LOL

dcfanz.com – I can’t get dcfans.com, which is why I got dcfans.tv, but I saw that dcfanz.com was available and decided it might be good to have.

sdsforum.org – Wayne had suggested that I get this domain to aid people looking for our new SDS forum at sdsforum.com.

gregsdesigns.com – I like g2i.us because it is really short, but I wanted something easier to remember that I could use when telling people about my websites.

hudgens.ws – I had decided about a week ago that I wanted to start a Vanessa Hudgens website. I already post lots of HSM3 news on DC Fans so it’s not like it’d be a lot of extra work. Plus, I’m totally digging her new CD so it seemed like a good idea. I ended up getting hudgens.ws so I could put the actual web site at Vanessa.Hudgens.ws.

babyv.us – Another Vanessa Hudgens domain I liked. I couldn’t decide, so I got both.

temeculatrains.com – I liked it, so I got it. No clue what I’ll actually do with it.

I absolutely love Natasha Bedingfield. Although my moods change daily, she’s been in my top five of recoding artists for the last four(ish) years. And I’m so happy she finally came out to California!

I think this conversation with Zei summed up the experience very nicely.
AKA, I’m to lazy tore-write everything.

Anitrain: So yeah… on a lighter note, my concert yesterday was beyond awsome
Zei: Cool.
Anitrain: I got like… less than six feet from the stage.
Anitrain: It was a small venue (some 250 people) but still. I’ve never been able to get that close.
Zei: 250 people? That doesn’t count.
Zei: That’s like…a party, not a concert.
Anitrain: It was at the House of Blues: San Diego It counts.
Anitrain: The Veronicas where one of the two “opening” acts. They are totally cuter in person.
Anitrain: And I could have gotten an autograph, but I would of had to give up my spot so I didn’t.
Zei: I don’t really care for autographs. They write on something, ooh, big deal.
Anitrain: And I’m totally a fan of autographs. Makes me feel more… connected to the artist. Especially when I actually get it in person
Zei: “Connected”. ha.
Anitrain: Oh, and like… I never know what to do with my hands.
Anitrain: And I normally tend to fold my hands behind my back when I don’t know what to with them.
Anitrain: But at one point during the main show I ended up folding them in front of me,
Anitrain: And I swear to God, Natasha – during the middle of the song she was singing – folded her arms and looked right at me!
Zei: Cool.
Anitrain: And I was like… “Crap!” and instantly dropped my hands to my sides. LOL
Anitrain: And outside while I was in line, some homeless black guy said I was gonna get it once Obama becomes president because I wouldn’t give him a quarter
Zei: I generally stay away from homeless people.
