Rockin’ and a Rollin’ in SoCal
USGS is estimating it was a 5.4 which is big, but not huge, centered under Chino Hills. It reportadly was felt as far as San Diego and Las Vegas. From google maps, I estimate Temecula to be about 45 miles away from the epicenter. I was standing on the second floor of my house when the quake hit. It was a genital roll, moving the floor about an inch in a swaying motion for roughly 20 seconds. I wasn’t sure if I had imagined it until I walked over and say the hanging chandelier swaying.
