It’s been almost a month since I met Tiffany Thornton and Sterling Knight at the Falling whistles benefit in LA.

(Tiff and Me)

(Sterling and me)
Since then, my video with Sterling has gone semi-viral with more than 1400 views to date!
SWAC forum members tell me that I have become quite a popular topic in YouTube comments, both for my sterling meeting and for my SWAC filming spoilers.
Still, I think forum member Shea summed it up best with this…

LOLz. I love that almost as much as these new Demi bikini pics!

Yeah, almost as much.

Well, it was two weeks ago that I went to see Emily Osment in concert at the House of Blues in Anaheim. And around the same time, my friend dcfan showed me this picture of emily and her band on the beach:

So naturally, I was inspired to create an Emily Osment Bikini fansite. It’s a good thing EmilyOsmentBikini.com was available!

Well, considering how well the Sonny with a Chance project worked out so well, and that the Good Luck Charlie site seems to be following suit, I think I might be on to something!
With that in mind, I registered http://pair-of-kings.com/ last month before I went to the taping of the show.

Pair of Kings is a live-action comedy series for disney XD about two fraternal twins who are living a typical teenage life in Chicago, but unbeknownst to them, are the successors to the throne of The Island of Kinkou. Starring are Mitchel Musso (“Hannah Montana,” “Phineas and Ferb”) as Brady and Doc Shaw (“The Suite Life on Deck” and “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne”) as Boomer.
Around the same time, it was announced that Alyson Michalka and Ashley Tisdale where both cast in a new series for the CW network. It’s not a Disney show, but it stars two of my favorite disney girls, so I figured it was close enough and registered http://hellcatscheer.com/.

Hellcats is a new series that follows Marti (Alyson), a college girl from the wrong side of the tracks who, after losing her scholarship has no choice but to join the Hellcats, her college’s competitive cheerleading team.
And I remembered I was forgetting about another upcoming show, the animated series Fish Hooks. I tried several different variations on the URL before settling on http://disneysfishhooks.com/. I noticed that Disney registered http://disneyfishhooks.com/ (without the “S”) so I must be on to something.

Fish Hooks is a new animated series that stars Kyle Massey (“Cory in the House”) as Milo, an adventurous party guy; Chelsea Staub (“JONAS”) as Bea, an overly dramatic goldfish; and Justin Roiland (“The Sarah Silverman Program”) as Oscar, Milo’s neurotic brother. I haven’t really followed any disney animated series since American Dragon ended, but this series has Chelsea Staub in it, so I figure I’ll at least give it a try.

If you’ve been following my posts, you’ll know that money for websites is tight. Domains are hard enough, but we recently had a lot of hosting issues and somehow we managed to get enough donations to cover almost everything.
But one of the things I realized while going through my domain lists, is that there are quite a few domains I had picked up just for the hell of it, or because I could make a great website on the subject – eventually. And it’s clear that I can’t keep everything. So what I’ve settled on is a “use it or lose it” approach.
As such, I have finally created my Ashley Leggat and Hayden Panettiere fansites. I’ve been sitting on these domains for years, and it’s about time I did something with them. The third fansite is for Nicole Anderson of J.O.N.A.S. This site is new, and to register it I had to give up another domain I had wanted to keep. So you bet I intend to use it!

Hayden Panettiere is a goddess. Arguably as hot as my favorite girl, Ashley Tisdale, this Heroes Hottie has a lot going for her. Her website was one of the first I planned to create, but got delayed due to the fact that she effectively stopped being a “Disney girl” and the standard fansite model no longer seemed to fit!

I love Life With Derek. I wrote to Ashley Leggat several years ago on behalf of SDS to offer our support should her show need our help. As such, I thought it would be good to make an Ashley fansite too, but it just never happened. I guess I was waiting for the LwD screencaps at first, but it’s up now!

Last but not least is Nicole Anderson. As you probably already know, I met Nicole at the D23 Expo. I had never watched JONAS so I really didn’t know anything about her when I met her. But we had a few moments to talk, and we got to talking about fansites and I remembered apologizing that I made one for Debby but not for her! Well, that changes today!

If any of you out there in internet land are interested, I wanted to let you know that I’ve just listed several domains on eBay.
These where all sites I had wanted to create and just never had a chance to work on and make what I really wanted. Which could be a great opportunity for you!
And if you’re not ready to make a site yourself, but know someone who might be, please forward the links to them!
All of the proceeds from the sale of these domains will go toward the upkeep of my other websites.

I am delighted to announce that my first website, SaveKimPossible.com, has finally come home. The domain was registered when we first began the Save Kim Possible movement. But due to financial issues, we where forced to give it up and create a new site SaveDisneyShows.org instead.

Despite several attempts over the years, we had no luck getting the domain back. That is until now. With a little help from Phil, I once again hold the domain, and this time I’m keeping it!
After some debate over what to do with it, I decided that it was the best place to put a history of the Save KP Movement. Sometimes I feel that the debacles of the season five campaign have overshadowed the amazing accomplishment that was the renewal for season four. To this end, SaveKimPossible.com tells the story of how we saved the show. And explores how the campaign affected my life in particular.

I have been thinking about starting a forum for DC Fans for quite some time, and finally decided to go for it. I’ve gotten to the point where the Sonny forum is more or less self sustaining, and SDS continues to trudge along, so I though I finally had the time to properly develop a forum for DC Fans.
I’ve had some really fun discussions on the blog using the comments sections, so I hope that can continue on the new forum. I’m somewhat concerned that the DC Fans forum lacks a defining purpose for existing, but that’s never stopped me before.
And as a bonus, with the random discussions on the forum, then the comments sections can stay on topic, and we can all still talk about how cute Selena Gomez is.
I’ve started the forum with with five sections: Announcements, Disney Channel Shows, Disney Channel Stars, General Disney, and Off-Topicness.
I these should be a good match for the topics I think will spring up on the forum, but we’ll make adjustments as necessary. If you have any thoughts on our format or layout please let me know! I’m very open to making changes if desired.

Monday morning bluehost suspended the hosting account for SaveDisneyShows.org. The SDS hosting account includes all of the SDS related sites including SaveKP.com, SDSForum.com, DisneysWitch.com, and the site that was targeted by the hackers, FixDisney.com.
We believe the hackers where able to access the site through a security hole in an outdated version of phpList. I upgraded the mailing list software and remove the phishing site the hackers had installed on the server. /after speaking with Wayne, we felt we had the problem solved.
We were wrong. This morning Bluehost re-suspended the account. And after discussing the situation with Bluehost, I was again given access to the site and I found the tool the hackers had installed that gave them access to the site after we plugged the original security hole. I went through every file on the server and found several problem files which I’ve all removed.
The site should be secure now, and should be back up Wednesday Morning.
UPDATE 06/10/09: SDS is back up.

I am happy to announce the creation of the G2I Media Store!
(I also considered calling it Greg’s Disney Shop or something like that)
Anyway, I’ve bought and sold textbooks on Amazon and eBay for ages, but recently I’ve started to feel like I could really make use of my own site. I certainly have the necessary experience with online stores, and the timing just seemed right.
The heart of the new store are the media items, gently used DVDs and CDs. All at reasonable prices of course. Also listed are a couple books and of course some great Disney Pins! Any and all sales generated by the store will, of course, help cover web hosting costs for all my sites.
The pins are probably the coolest things in the store, just because I’ve put together a good cross section of Disney Channel related items including Kim Possible, High School Musical, and Hannah Montana.
Please feel free to pass the link on to anyone you know that might be interested.

I wanted to take a moment to formally announce the launch of two new celebrity websites. Both of course are related to Demi Lovato’s new show Sonny with a Chance.
The first is dedicated to Tiffany Thornton, TiffanyThornton.us.

Tiffany plays in-control diva Tawni Hart. She’s also in the upcoming DCOM Hatching Pete.
The second is dedicated to Jillian Murray, JillianMurray.net.

Jillian has a smaller role on Sonny as Portlyn, one of the Mackenzie Falls cast members. Jillian also stars in the new direct to DVD film, American High School.
